This is what change looks like in motion
Free to Move is building the research, resources, and partnerships needed to make women's outdoor safety a national priority.
Women's safety has long been under-researched and under-resourced. Free to Move is working to change that, uncovering new data, identifying systemic gaps, and putting that knowledge into the hands of the people with the power to act on it.
Our research isn't just aggregating what's already out there. It's generating new information that positions us to educate, advocate, and create true and lasting change.
How can we create safer spaces if we don't know what safety gaps exist?
Our national survey was created to identify what needs to change. Here's where we need your help:
If you spend time in parks, trails, or greenways in your community, your perspective matters. Share your lived experience with us through our short survey, linked below. We'll use this data to advocate for safer greenways and better public policy nationwide.
Invite your friends, family and neighbors to take the survey: every voice matters. The more data we have, the more accurate we can be. Through the power of community, we will create real, actionable change.
